Against Socialized Medicine
In 1950 South Dakota politics made national news.
Candidates for the Democratic Senatorial nomination are Dr. John S. Tschetter, retired physician and mayor of Huron and John A. Engel, Avon attorney. Neither has mentioned the Truman administration during the campaign.
Both have promised a fight for 100 per cent parity for farm products and both have taken a stand against socialized medicine.
